Mel’s at it again
Maybe it’s just me, but did anyone else cringe upon seeing the poster for Mel Gibson’s upcoming movie due out next summer?
Think about it: a movie with the dubious name “Apocalypto” from the director of The Passion of the Christ, and the tag line reads, “When the end comes, not everyone is ready to go.” I really thought this was going to be a big-budget remake of one of the Left Behind books.
What it actually is looks pretty cool. Check out the teaser trailer. 
IMDB says it’s an epic “where a man goes on a perilous journey to save his idyllic world.” Anybody who thinks pre-Columbian Central America was idyllic needs their head examined.
But it still could be a good movie.
