Self-portrait, version 2
At Araceli’s suggestion I went back to the drawing board. Perhaps the result is a little severe, but when did you ever see a self-portrait of someone—even Norman Rockwell—smiling?
I also tried my hand at rendering my better half—from memory. It doesn’t do her justice. 
For the record, I didn’t suggest you should do the angry face. :)The more I look at it, I definitely don’t think it’s smilng in any way. I liked the smiley one better, but I do think the length of the face is right.
Now that you put the “code warrior” sign above your face, the intense look is just fine! I love being married to the Schwarzenneger of coding.
