First QA build
Yesterday my team at work produced a stable build of all our products and handed it over to our Quality Assurance group. This is the first release cycle I’ve had any part in since I joined Bridgeway. (When I moved into my office in May, the team was engrossed in shortening the pre-release bug list; they released version 7 at the end of my second week. I was still getting my bearings at that point, so all I did was show up at the release party.)
I was able to contribute two features to this release, both in the thin client of eCounsel. I’m looking forward to hearing if they make our customers’ lives any easier.
In other Bridgeway news, we’re going to unveil a makeover of our corporate brand at our user conference in September. The rebranding effort was conceived to strengthen our bid as “the legal best practices company.” All of us employees got a hush-hush preview of the new indicia and tag line last month, and I think it’s a good little bit of marcomm wizardry.
