A song without words
My latest recording made at church is now available. Poor Mr Rachmaninov is doubtless doing backflips in his grave because we had to cut the B section of his “Vocalise” here to meet the time constraints of an offertory. Does racing through the giving in 2¼ minutes say anything about how much we Presbyterians put in the offering plate?
This charming piece was written in 1912 for wordless soprano (thus the title) and piano.
