The sincerest form of flatulence

I saw a trailer this week for Richard Gere’s upcoming feature, a soporific remake of the Japanese sleeper Shall We Dance? My first question was, What’s Stanley Tucci doing in this movie? My second question was, Do we get a Celine Dion ballad with the closing credits?

Richard Gere in Red Corner (1997)Ben Stiller in Zoolander (2001)Gere has vandalized perfectly good foreign films before by remaking them—to wit, Sommersby (what was Jodie Foster doing in that?)—so I guess I should contain my enthusiasm. He stays remarkably busy for a male supermodel an actor whose dramatic screen presence amounts to a “blue steel” look topped off with salt-and-pepper hair.

With Tinseltown cultural ambassadors such as Gere and Jennifer Lopez representing this country to the rest of the world it’s no wonder the Islamists want to kill us. end of entry

  1. Hey Casa! I want to ask you something:

You said you saw a preview from Shall We Dance. Did you mean you have seen the trailer or have you seen the movie at a test screening? If so, could you please tell me how it was? As a Susan Sarandon fan I am looking forward to this movie. There are rumors test screenings went badly … Is that true? Did the test audience like the movie? Please tell me more about the movie!

And by the way: you have a great site! good job!

    Your sincerely,

    Jack

  2. Please give me a reply … :(

  4. O thanks for your information!

    Have a great summer!
